super cool clock idea

Wouldn't this be cool on a large scale? Maybe in the future I will create a clock with framed photos or artwork of/by my child and then put the exposed hands in the center.... One day when I actually have an apartment with an extra bedroom for the child...

I saw this on craft and have decided that I might want to redo my mantel with some photo jars like this... I am loving them. Maybe some of those crazy photos Franc and I took a couple weeks ago! hmmmm....

Yes, they look photo-shopped, but they are really pictures taped or toothpicked to things and then retaken. I matted them (plus others that are not pictured), and gave them to him in addition to the cake (see below) for valentine's day.

So I totally did this picture cut out thing for valentine's day for Franc, and I really intend on posting the pics, but for now I am only going to post the cake I made for him b.c of a lack of time. I will post the actual pictures later...

I saw a thing on craft a while back on making these little cut-outs of pics and then putting them around the house. Then I saw it again on this blog which my friend willow led me to recently. (The girl whose blog I got the images off does lots of cool things like this btw, so jealous).
